Former McLean County High School standout Troy Woodburn smacked a two-run homer in the second game for Brescia University and the Bearcats swept Alice Lloyd 8-4 and 9-3 on Wednesday in a Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader at Kamuf Park.

Alex Hegge, Christian McHatton and Matt Cissell each had two hits for Brescia (4-7, 2-0) in the second game. Hegge and McHatton also drove in two runs.

Tyler Richardson got the win the first game, striking out four and walking one in a complete game. Cissell was 2-for-3 with an RBI.

The Bearcats host the Eagles (2-3, 0-2) in another twin bill at noon today.
