The 19th Ranked IUSE Men's Basketball Team's defense proved to be too much for the Bearcats to handle. The Bearcats were held to a season low 24% shooting for the game. IUSE's size and length of their defenders made it difficult for the bercats to score inside. "They were very active defensively we were able to cut the lead to seven points in the second half put they came back with 2 quick buckets off of our mistakes to get it to 11. We must have some young men step up defensively as we allowed 48% shooting from the field again. This has been an issue for us lately keeping teams out of the paint. Defense wins games and we must start playing it better.", stated Coach Skortz. IUSE was lead in scoring by 6'7 Joe Jackson with 18 points followed by 16 points off the bench from Freshman Joe Ferree. The Bearcats we able to contain IUSE all conference guard Demetrius Stanton to 10 points. Brescia was lead Dillon Gerralds with 16and Tavon Johnson adding 14 points.
