After spliting on Saturday (20-3 and 11-9) the Brescia University Baseball team stepped up for another split to stay in first place of the KIAC.

The Bearcats lost the first game 4-1, then rallied to beat the Grenadiers 6-5 in the second game at Kamuf Park.

Zach Capps scored the game-winner for Brescia on an error in the sixth inning of the nightcap.

Brady Flaspoehler, Lane Potter and Matt Cissell each had two hits for the Bearcats, who hold a two-game lead over IUS in the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
