Defense has been the story for the Bearcats early in the season. The Bearcats allowed 54% shooting in the second half and were defeated 79-73 at home. "We have to start to figure this out as a team we cannot afford to continue to allow teams to shoot a high % from the field more importanly allow scores in the paint. This was a concern going into the season if we could defend and rebound and now we need to have some players step up and defend." added Coach Skortz. Offensively when we pushed tempo in transition and attached we were very effective.. it was when we had some players slow the tempo down dribbling the ball too much on the perimeter or guys not filling their lanes in transition our rhythem on offense broke down." The Bearcats were lead by Dillon Geralds, the sophmore poured in 24 points and Senior guard Trey Howard added 17 points. The Bearcats travel to Lindenwood University on Monday.
