Brescia University traveled to Greencastle, Indiana to compete in the DePauw Indoor Classic. Wabash took the overall team victory, followed by host DePauw on the men's side. The Bearcats scored 22 points, finishing the meet in 9th place out of 11 total teams.
Brescia's 4x200, a team made up of all first year Bearcats (Parris, Holt, Harris, Jacobs), started the day off right. The men took 2nd place in this event with a time of 1:38.24. Other point scorers for the Bearcats were Kyle Robinson and Landon Holt. Robinson finish his 5,000-meter race in a time of 16:52.39, which was good enough for a 2nd place finish. While Holt crossed the line in the open 400-meter race in a time of 52.04 and placed 3rd.
"I was very pleased with how our men competed today. We have been working on various aspects of their respective events and each week we are seeing improvements. I am looking forward to our final regular season indoor meet next weekend", said Coach Stoffel.
The Bearcats finish their indoor season next weekend as they head to Anderson University.
