OWENSBORO, KY -The Bearcats opened up at home verses the Lions of Freed-Hardeman on Tuesday night. The Bearcats played a strong first half, trailing 1-0 with less than 5 minutes left in the half, before Freed-Hardeman slipped in a second goal. The half would end 2-0 in favor of Freed-Hardeman. After halftime, the Bearcats pushed numbers forward to help provide some offensive punch and were able to create a handful of chances, but were unable to find the back of the net. As the match would open up, Freed-Hardeman would eventually pull away to win the game 9-0. The Bearcats had positive moments of play and are getting better every match. The Bearcats are back in action on Friday at home against Spalding University (NCAA D III), kick-off is at 7pm CST at Kamuf Park.
