The Men's Cross Country team competed at the Greater Louisville Classic meet this past Saturday September 30th. Kyle Robinson, Devin Roche, and De'Ontae Washington all ran PR's with Chase McCauley running a season best. Kyle led the team with a time of 27:45 followed by Devin at 30:32, Chase McCauley at 30:47 and De'onte at 32:25.
Coach Stoffel was asked after the race how he felt the guys did on the day he said, "I am extremely happy with how everyone ran today. Kyle broke twenty-eight minutes for the first time, which is a new PR, Devin ran a new PR, Chase will hopefully be back under thirty minutes within the next two meets, and I was happy to see De'onte came out and run his first 8K in just under thirty-two and half minutes, that's a good start for him with what he's ran in the past and where I believe he can be."
The men compete next, October 7th, at the Fast Cats Classic. The Bearcats, Kentucky Wesleyan, and Daviess County High School host the meet together. The guns is set to go off at 10:10am for the men's race.
