Cross Country - Mon, Oct. 15, 2012
The Brescia Bearcats men's cross country team placed 5th in their home meet, the Fast Cats Classic, on Saturday. The team was led by sophomore, John Egan with a top-10 finish overall with a time of 26:11 for the 8-kilometer race. Austin Curtis, Tyler Blair, Andrew Beams, and Drew Atkins rounded out the scoring for the Bearcats. Also, notably for the men were Dillon Yearby who set a new personal record of 29:36 and former Bearcat standout and volunteer coach, Matt Lowe who finished 9th.
The Bearcats return to action this upcoming Saturday when they travel to St. Louis, MO to run the St. Louis Fall Classic hosted by St. Louis College of Pharmacy.
