With Team Biddle trailing by three going into the ninth, Freshman DH Logan Brown was able to work a lead-off walk, but was quickly erased when a Freshman LHP Chad Cox was able to induce a double play ball. With Team Biddle down to it's final out, Freshman OF Cody Morris worked a walk and was followed with a single by Senior 2B Andy Dickson. The next batter Freshman 3B Troy Woodburn reached on an error that gave Team Biddle one last breath. After an intentional walk to Hegge, Freshman SS Mitchell Blackmon stepped to the plate and laced a two run single to tie the score at four. The next batter, Freshman C Aaron King lined an RBI single to left to give Team Biddle a 5-4 lead.
Now trailing by a run it was Team Aubin's turn to try for some late heroics. After a catcher's interference call to start the inning and a fielders choice, a two out error allowed Freshman OF Brady Flaspoehler to cross the plate with the tying run and force the game into extra innings. In the top of the tenth, Brown led off with a single and moved to second on a sac bunt. Morris followed with a perfect bunt hit to put runners at first and third with one out. That's when Dickson stepped to the plate and lifted a fly ball to centerfield to score the go ahead run. Team Biddle was able to push one more run across in the tenth on another Team Aubin error to take a 7-5 lead.
With a two run lead in the tenth Sophomore RHP Jackson Miles was able to slam the door shut. After back to back strikeouts to start the inning, Miles got a fly ball to right to end it. Miles earned the win with 3 2/3 innings of relief and Team Biddle took the Fall World Series three games to one bringing the Brescia baseball team's fall season to a close
