Bryce Garrett hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored a team-best 13 points to lift Brescia to a 62-57 victory over Bryan in the second round of the Tennessee Wesleyan College Classic on Saturday in Cleveland, Tenn.

The Bearcats (4-4) also got 12 points from Zac Brown and 11 from Myron Christian. Brett Jackson led BU with eight rebounds.

Brescia shot 48 percent in the first half and led 38-29 at intermission, before holding off Bryan over the final 20 minutes.

The Bearcats overcame 20 turnovers by winning the rebounding battle, 37-31.

Rob Riley's game-high 14 points paced Bryan, which also got 11 points from Carrin Nash.

Bryan made just 1-of-15 field goal attempts.
