On Sunday the Brescia baseball team finished their four game series at home against the Huntington University Foresters.
In the first game Huntington jumped out to an early lead pushing two runs across on a pair of Bearcat errors. Huntington added another run in the third on an RBI double by Andy Roser to make the score 3-0. The Bearcats would finally get on the board in the fourth when they erupted for four runs highlighted by a two run double by Catcher Aaron King (SO, Waverly, KY). First Baseman Christian McHatton (JR, Henderson, KY) doubled home another run in the fifth to make the score 5-3. Huntington struck back again in the top of the sixth when Roser lifted a grand slam over the left field wall to make the score 7-5. The Bearcats got one back in the bottom of the sixth to pull within one. Huntington again answered in the top of the seventh on a two out two run single by Blake Ayers to push the lead to three. The Bearcats refused to go away quietly, as they again struck back for three seventh inning runs to send the game into extra innings. Huntington would get one more in the eighth to go back ahead 10-9. In the bottom of the eighth, the Bearcats loaded the bases with nobody out, but couldn't capitalize as Marc Bowers closed out the win.

After an RBI groundout by Third Baseman Alex Hegge (SR, Bellevue, KY), Stewart lifted a two run homerun to push the lead back to three. Huntington would get one more run in the sixth on a sac fly by Roser, but the Bearcats answered it on an RBI double by Nate Crocker (SR, Porterville, CA).
