Myron Christian scored 16 points to pace a balanced attack as Brescia defeated host Tennessee Wesleyan 67-64 in the Tennessee Wesleyan College Classic on Friday night in Cleveland, Tenn.
Bryce Garrett and Seth Hart each added 11 points for the Bearcats (3-4), who face Bluefield College at noon today in their final game in the Classic.
Tennessee Wesleyan led 29-25 at halftime, but BU allowed just 31 percent shooting in the second half to turn the tide.
The Bearcats shot 58 percent in the second half, and finished at 45 percent for the game. Brescia hit 16-of-26 free throws and won the rebounding battle, 30-23.
Kacy Clemmons paced BU with seven rebounds and five assists in a reserve role.
Tennessee Wesleyan was led by Quincy Scates, who produced game-highs of 21 points and 10 rebounds.
