The Brescia baseball team hosted Alice Lloyd College on Senior Day on Saturday at Schadler Field.
In game 1 it was all Bearcats. After Alice Lloyd plated one in the first, the Bearcats answered with six in their half of the first. First Baseman Christian McHatton (JR/Henderson, KY) drove in two and Right Fielder Nick Woltermann (SO/Fort Thomas, KY) drove in two with a homerun, while Pinch Runner Josh Wetzel (FR/Metropolis, IL) and Shortstop Nate Crocker (SR/Porterville, CA) each stole home on double steals. The Bearcats would add a run in the third on an RBI single by Center Fielder Brady Reese (SO/Villa Hills, KY). Alice Lloyd would add another run in the fifth, but the Bearcats would answer with four of their own highlighted by Catcher Hank Stewart (SR/Cartersville, GA)'s two run single giving him 66 RBI's on the year setting a new single season school record. Alice Lloyd would plate two in the sixth and the Bearcats would add one more of their own in route to the 12-4 win.
Bearcat Starting Pitcher Andrew Shoulders (SR/Boonville, IN) worked six innings allowing four earned runs on thirteen hits while striking out three in route to his tenth win of the year setting a new single season record for the Bearcats.

Game 2 was more of the same for the Bearcats scoring runs in every inning except the second. Every Bearcat starter reached base once and seven of the nine starters drove in runs. Designated Hitter Christian McHatton and Shortstop Nate Crocker each drove in five runs in the 20-2 route. Catcher Aaron King (SO/Waverly, KY) was hit by a pitch in the third inning for the sixteenth time this year setting a new single season mark, previously set last year by Jordan Rhodes.
Bearcat Starter Zach Sciaccotta (JR/Elmwood Park, IL) worked six solid innings allowing two unearned runs on five hits while striking out seven in route to his third win of the year. Relief Pitcher Chad Cox (SO/Paducah, KY) worked the seventh striking out two in the inning.
The Bearcats will wrap up their KIAC schedule on Sunday with a doubleheader against Alice Lloyd at noon at Schadler Field.
