The Brescia Bearcats never seemed to find their rhythm offensively on Tuesday night, but they held the visiting Boyce Bulldogs to 22% shooting from the floor and 16% from 3pt range as they won the game 68-49. The Bulldogs stayed close to the Bearcats for most of the evening, thanks in part to the scoring of Travis Thompson, who led Boyce with a 19-point effort. Although they only shot 30% from 3pt range and 55% from the free throw line, Brescia dominated Boyce on the glass, outrebounding the visitors 54-30, led by 16 boards from Austin Morris. Morris also finished with 12 points and 7 blocked shots, joining Jordan Cooper-Livers (16), Kyle Nixon (13), and Trey Howard (11) as one of four Bearcats to score in double-figures.
The Bearcats return to action on November 20th as they travel to NCAA Division I foe Murray State University for a 7:00pm tip.
