The Bearcats fell short on Saturday at home against the Patriots of Morthland College. After three straight conference games, Brescia stepped back out into non-conference action in a rematch of the November 29th game at Morthland, won by Brescia 95-82. The Bearcats came out ready to go, leading by 11 at the halftime break. However, once again they struggled to put two halves together on the defensive end. After allowing 31 points in the first half, the Patriots scored 48 points after the break and handed the Bearcats a rare home loss, hitting a shot with 4 seconds remaining to win 79-78.
The Bearcats return to KIAC action on Tuesday at IU-East.
