The men's basketball team traveled to Kokomo, Indiana on Tuesday night and fell to the host IU-Kokomo Cougars by a final score of 70-58. The game was a back-and-forth affair until the final five minutes. After being tied at 53-53, the Cougars went on a 17-5 run to close out the game, highlighted by four different made baskets that just beat the horn of the shot clock. Micah Pier led IUK with 17 points, followed by Nick Teeter with 15 markers. Jermain Langley led Brescia with 18 points and was joined in double-figures by Trey Howard with 13 points. For the game, IUK shot 26-54 (48.1%) and 9-22 (40.9%) from three-point range. Brescia shot 24-58 (41.4%) and 5-19 (26.3%) from behind the arc.
The Bearcats will return to action on Saturday, as they host Cincinnati Christian University at 3:00pm in the Den.
