The Bearcats arrived in Branson, MO late Sunday night, but got up Monday morning and got right to work. They began their normal routine of practice and also began to prepare for #1 Indiana Wesleyan. The amount of teams and the facilities to use has caused practices to be shorter, only an hour long, but Senior Kyle Wilgus said they are still going well. "Our practices have been shorter than we're used to, but we've been bringing such high intensity. We've been scouting Indiana Wesleyan and trying to manipulate what they do to prepare us as much as possible" said Wilgus. "It was a different environment going into Branson High School and to see the size of the high school and to practice in there." Arvest Bank is the sponsor for the Bearcats throughout the tournament and they have been very supportive and helpful. Wilgus stated, "I would like to give a shout out to our honorary coaches and our sponsor Arvest Bank for everything they've done for us so far, they've been such a great host. They have showed great support of us by being at our practices and allowing us to do these fun team activities like zip-lining and go-cart racing." Wilgus also went on to say that it has been a great experience for him thus far and that he's just ready to play. "It has been a wonderful experience, I had no idea to expect for my first time coming to Branson. I'm blessed to have this opportunity as a senior to do something that Brescia hasn't done before. To win the KIAC South and to make the National Tournament, it's been awesome. I'm excited to play Indiana Wesleyan, I think it will be a great environment. It's been a long season but we're finally where we've wanted to be. I'm just ready to play now." Practices have gone well for the Bearcats the first two days and they're excited to get a taste of the National Tournament.
