Coach Hamilton is entering his 22nd year of coaching and his first at Brescia University. His long resume includes 14 years of coaching experience collegiately and seven at the high school level. 

As a Mississippi State and Western Kentucky baseball player, Hamilton graduated as a Hilltopper with his Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science. He first started out as a head baseball coach for the Western Kentucky Dirtbags summer team from 2009-10 where he led the team to an over .500 record (78-28). After a few years assisting in different programs, Hamilton's next head assignment was with the Owensboro Oilers, a hometown summer team. He drove the previous 10-30 team to a 24-18 record and 3rd place in the Ohio Valley Collegiate League. His tenure as an assistant at Division II Kentucky Wesleyan College boasted a first ever G-MAC Conference title and first regional wins in program history. His next opportunity was taking the head coaching job at the University of Pikeville who is an NAIA affiliate in the Mid-South Conference. Hamilton oversaw 55 athletes among the varsity and junior varsity programs while fundraising for facilities and developing player skills. He continued his coaching experience at LSU-Shreveport, an NAIA program. Hamilton assisted in leading the Pilots to a slew of broken records while finishing fourth in the College World Series. Most recently, Coach Hamilton not only was the strength and conditioning coach for Owensboro Catholic High School, but helped lead the team to a KHSAA Baseball Tournament Semi-final appearance.
