Men's Basketball Drops Conference Matchup to Midway
MIDWAY, KY – The Brescia University men’s basketball team fell to 0-2 in conference play after their 100-69 loss to Midway. The Bearcats even their record at 2-2 overall and 0-2 in RSC play.

To kick off BU's second conference matchup, they would come out hot on a 20-8 run with 10 minutes left in the first half. The Eagles would slowly work their way back to the lead as a three-pointer would knot the score at 27 with five minutes left. Midway would continue to throw up their shots behind the arc as three-straight long balls would give the Eagles a nine-point lead going into half. Missed shots and free throws would get the best of the Bearcats as they drop the contest, 100-69.
Gonzalo Luque led the offense with 18 points as Camden Pfeister and Ksuan Casey each tab double digit points themselves.
The Bearcats take the court next in Mckenzie, TN as they take on Bethel Thursday, Dec. 14th with an 11 am CT tip-off.
