Men's Golf Competes Against Oakland City

Owensboro, KY - The Men's Golf team went up against Oakland City on back-to-back days. They played match play on day one and stroke play on day two.

Despite Brescia playing well, Oakland City came away with the victory in match play. The Mighty Oaks won all four matches. The next day the Bearcats hosted Oakland City at the Pearl Club and this time the outcome was in favor of the Bearcats. Brescia won the event 302-319. Daniel Steele led the way for the Bearcats with a score of 73. Other finishers for the Bearcats: Nolan White 75, Trevor Brown 77, and Chance England 77.

"The men are getting better each week. We struggled a little on day one, but came back out the next day and had a good showing", said Head Coach David Ballou.

The Bearcats will host Asbury University on October 1st and 2nd at the Pearl Club.
