OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University women's soccer team moved to 1-4-1 on the season following their tie over Harris-Stowe Wednesday night.
In this back-and-forth matchup, the first goal came just second after the whistle of the second half as the Bearcats earned a corner kick. Javi Fernandez Albandrea found the back of the net for his third goal of the season. The defensive battle resumed until the Hornets found the equalizer in the 78th minute of the match. BU was able to hold off the Harris-Stowe offense as they secured the tie at home.
The Bearcats improve their record to 1-4-1 on the year as they look to play in town rival, Kentucky Wesleyan, Thursday at 6pm at Panther Field.
