Bearcats Topped by Davis & Elkins College

Brescia Men's Tennis competed in their second game Friday evening against a very tough Davis & Elkins College team. The Bearcats only win came from Senior, Fernando Garcia, who defeated Cardel Bostic in singles play, 6-1, 6-1. Both Jose Alcazar and Turilo Duck had their matches end in tie-breaker, where each came up just short.

Coach Chernova said, "I am very proud of how the guys competed. The guys played their second match on the same day after playing IU Southeast and showed good tennis. Everybody had very close matches and Fernando Garcia won his singles match 6-1. 6-1. Davis & Elkins is a Division 2 program and is the first in their conference, they are definitely a tough opponent to play".

Bearcats compete again at home Saturday March, 25th against River States Conference opponent Alice Lloyd.
