Men's Tennis Competes at ITA Regionals

On the past week we had our Bearcats fighting at Regionals (ITA). On the men's side, David Chavarria Falls against Luis Castellon (UN) by 6-1/6-2. Daniel Paez beats Mateo Gonzales (UN) on a tough match by 1-6/ 6-2/ 1-0, and falls against TJ Brady (IUS) on the second round. Danila Pyzh wins against Lorward Choi (Mont) by 6-1/6-2 and also falls on the second round against Michael Gutu. Daniel Stueland falls against David Alfaro (Mid) by 6-2/ 6-0. On doubles Paez and Pyzh falls against Lopez and Hernandez (Mid) by 8-6. Stueland and Chaverria also falls against Huarachi and Kulakov (Blue) by 8-3.

On the women's side, Toni Keeling loses against Giovana Kelm (Asb) by 6-1/ 6-0. Eleni Stravolemos also falls in the first round against Laure Fazenbaker (GC) number 5 sit in regionals by 6-1/ 6-0. Hannah Joy Simms wins on the first round against Hayley Taylor (Mont) by 6-1/ 6-0 and falls on the second round. On doubles Simms and Stravolemos win against Grady a Light (Mill) in the first round and falls on the second round against Petkovic and Pajcin (UN).
