Bio
In 2020-21, Forbes coached the Blue Raiders to a 22-5 overall record and a 14-2 Mid-South Conference record winning the program an eighth straight regular season and a sixth straight Mid-South Conference tournament championship.
In his first season at the helm, Forbes led the Blue Raiders to their eighth MSC Regular Season and their seventh MSC Tournament crown. He guided Lindsey Wilson to a 32-6 overall record including a 14-2 mark in the MSC before bowing out of the NAIA National Championship in the Round of 16.
Before LWC, Coach Forbes was the Brescia women’s volleyball Coach from 2012-2018, where the Bearcats won only nine matches in his first season. In 2018, Brescia won 23 matches while earning the program's first national tournament appearance. While at Brescia, Forbes amassed a 90-138 overall record, including winning 45 games over the last two seasons.
Prior to taking over at Brescia, Coach Forbes served as the head coach at Apollo High School in Owensboro. In addition to his experience Coach Forbes is also a club coach for Kentuciana Skills Academy, Director of Audubon Volleyball Association, Evansville River City Volleyball Club.\
