Lee Takes Helm of Men's and Women's Track and Cross Country Programs
OWENSBORO, KY (July 8, 2026) – The Brescia University Athletic Department welcomes Aaron Lee as the head coach of the men's and women's cross country and track and field programs.
Lee has been with the Bearcats for the past four seasons, serving as an assistant coach. In that role, he primarily worked with distance runners and assisted in recruiting efforts. His commitment to student-athlete development and familiarity with the program made him a natural choice to lead the Bearcats moving forward.
"I am absolutely thrilled and honored to be named the new Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach at Brescia University," said Lee. "Stepping into this leadership role with the Bearcats is an incredible opportunity. I cannot wait to build upon the program's foundation of academic and athletic excellence."
"Aaron has been an integral part of the Brescia Cross Country and Track & Field programs for several years," said Keith Cottoner, Vice President of Athletic Affairs. "He has developed into a strong leader, mentor, and coach while making a tremendous impact on our student-athletes. Aaron has earned this opportunity, and we are confident he is the right person to lead our cross country and track & field programs into the future."
Lee competed collegiately at Kentucky Wesleyan College, where he was a member of the cross country and track and field programs while earning a bachelor's degree in psychology. He also spent time working with Daviess County Family and Juvenile Services before accepting this head coaching position.
