Women's Soccer Defeated on The Road Against Goshen
GOSHEN, In. - The Brescia University women's soccer team was defeated by Goshen on the road, 4-1, to extend their record to 0-1 on the season.
As the women's soccer team kicks off for the first time this season, Maci Uffelman would take a ball down the field for the Bearcats and net it for her first goal of the season. With the 1-0 advantage, Goshen would tie the score in the 15th minute of play. The offensive scoring for the Bearcats would come to a halt as the Leafs would score three more goals in the 24th, 48th, and a Brescia own goal in the 79th minute to end the match with a score of 4-1.
Ashby Greenwell records her first loss of the season with three saves in 90 minutes.
The Bearcats will take on Pikeville at Thompson Berry Soccer Complex on Wednesday, August 24th with a kickoff time of 6:00 pm CT.
