Grizzlies Drop Bearcats

The Franklin College (2-0) women's tennis team traveled to Owensboro on Saturday and handed the Bearcats (0-2) their second straight loss to begin the season.
"We really did play and compete better today. The season is young and we have shown improvement every day." said Coach Etchison.
Seniors Dakota Durrett and Tarsila Duck both gave strong performances on the day, while also showing improvement for the Bearcats were Natalie Burke, Taylor Wathen and Emily Adkins.
Brescia will now have two weeks to prepare for their KIAC opener against Asbury on September 19th.
