Women's Tennis Competes at RSC Fall Preview
Owensboro, KY--Brescia University Women's Tennis Team competed at the River State Conference Fall Preview this past weekend. The tournament consisted of 10 different draws, six singles and four doubles, each named after a different color.
Bearcat single finishers:
In the Purple Draw final, Divinity Price came in 5th place.
In the Crimson Draw final, Naruemon Wiriyachon came in 4th place.
In the Blue Draw final, Morgan Harmon came in 8th place.
In the White Draw final, Toni Keeling came in 8th place.
Bearcat double finishers:
In the Green Draw final, Price/Wiriyachon came in 3rd place.
In the Gold Draw final, Harmin/Keeling came in 4th place.
Head Coach, Olga Chernova stated after the game, "This tournament was a great test for our players. There was good competition and we learned a lot about ourselves. There are defiantly some positives from the matches as well as some things we need to work on."
The Lady Bearcats are back in action at Centre Court this weekend, September 16 at 9 A.M against Johnson University.
