Women's Tennis posts 6-0 shutout

Circleville, OH – Brescia women's tennis competed against Ohio Cristian and left victorious in 6-0 shutout 6-0 Monday afternoon.

Brescia took the early 2-0 advantage with two doubles victories. Hannah-Joy Simms and Eleni Stravolemos continued to shine with an 8-0 win at No.1 doubles over Jerika Smith and Jaycee Carter. At No.2, Toni Keeling and Sierra Thompson won their match against Lauren Copeland and Benetta Troubel 8-2.

On the singles side, Danielle Mattis took down Lauren Copeland with a 6-1 6-2 performance to give Brescia the 3-0 edge. All other points Brescia University got from forfeits.

The Bearcats will be back in action on Saturday when they face Asbury University in Lexington, KY.
