Women's XC 2021 Season Preview

The Brescia University women's cross country team will begin its season on Saturday, September 18th, at the IU East Run With the Wolves Invitational. This invitational will also serve as a preview for the River States Conference Championship course.

The Bearcats were voted seventh in the RSC Coaches' Preseason Poll, while also receiving one first place vote.

The women's team recruited five new student-athletes for this season, adding to a competitve group of returning student-athletes.

"We've been really pleased with how our training has been going since our teams returned in August. On the women's side we have several newcomers, along with our returners, who are definitely making an impact already. We're excited about the season starting on the 18th," said Head Coach Mark Rowe.

Important dates to know:

• The Bearcats season opener is on September 18th at the IU East Run With the Wolves Invitational.
• The Brescia Invitational will be hosted at Yellow Creek Park on October 8th.
• The River States Conference Championship will take place on November 6th in Richmond, Indiana.
• The NAIA National Championship will be on November 19th in Vancouver, Washington.
