Baseball Makes Second Straight Postseason Appearance
OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University baseball team earned the #5 seed in the River States Conference Tournament. The Bearcats finished the regular season 22-19 overall and 14-13 in RSC play.
The Bearcats make back-to-back conference tournament appearances after finishing over .500 this season. With tournament play beginning Thursday, April 30, BU will battle #2 Oakland City. Brescia is looking to avenge the regular season sweep against the Mighty Oaks as they see in the first round. The first two games of the series were close in proximity with a total deficit of just three runs. The Mighty Oaks cranked the offense up in game three taking the finale, 15-1.
