OWENSBORO, Ky. – The senior day event ended with the men’s soccer team taking on the Bears of Shawnee State. The Bearcats took the loss 2-1 despite starting with the lead. They extend their record to 2-10-4 overall and 1-3-2 in RSC play.

OWENSBORO, Ky. – The senior day event ended with the men's soccer team taking on the Bears of Shawnee State. The Bearcats took the loss 2-1 despite starting with the lead. They extend their record to 2-10-4 overall and 1-3-2 in RSC play.
The Bearcats started behind as a Bears grabbed the lead in the 27th minute of the match. Katai Mukuka found the back of the net in the 52nd minute for his fifth goal of the year to knot the match. This physical match eventually led to a red card and an ejection for the Bears. However, despite playing a man down, the Bears took the lead in the 66th minute and kept it the rest of the match.
The Bearcats take the field next Saturday, Oct. 26th, against WVU Tech at 2:30pm CT on the road.
