ALICE LLOYD OFFENSE TOO MUCH FOR LADY BEARCATS

PIPPA PASSES, Ky. - The Brescia University women's basketball team continues their losing streak as they pick up a loss to Alice Lloyd, 73-56. 

At the tip, the Eagles would gain possession first as they dribble down and immediately get fouled sending them to the free throw line. With a quick two point lead, the Eagles would take advantage of Bearcat missed shots and quickly jump out to a 15-4 lead. The Lady Bearcats would claw their way back within the lead with a 8-0 run for the offense. Missed shots would continue for the Bearcats as the Eagles would continue to run away with the lead. Going into the locker rooms, the Bearcats would see themselves down at a 41-23 deficit. Ultimately, the Eagle lead was too much for the Bearcats as they pick up the loss, 73-56.

The Bearcat scoring was led by Paige Vanzant with 9 points as three other Bearcats tab 8 points (Madelyn Lyon, Lindsey Peyton, and Alecea Homer). 

The Lady Bearcats will head to Pittsburgh, Pa. on January 14th as they go head to head with Carlow University with a start time of 4:30 pm CT.
