Lady Bearcats Tab Fifth Double Digit Win
COLUMBUS, In. – The Brescia University women’s basketball team continues to dominate conference play after a 25-point win over IU Columbus on the road. The Lady Cats improve their record to 18-5 overall and 9-2 in RSC play.

The Bearcats are on a five-game winning streak with all games won by double digits. Following their 40-point win over Kentucky Christian, BU headed to Columbus to take on the Crimson Pride. Cassidy Morris and Caroline Lucas combined for 14 points in the opening quarter. With the nine-point advantage after the break, the Bearcats surged to a 22-point lead over the Crimson Pride at the end of the third. The advantage was insurmountable by the fourth despite putting up just 11 points.
Jenna Krampe and Graci Risley each lit up the box score with 17 points apiece. Krampe, along with her 87% shooting, also added three rebounds, an assist, and a block. Risley shot 66% from the floor with five threes and a block in the win. Two other Bearcats were in double digits, Caroline Lucas with 10 and Brooklyn Stewart with 13. BU out-rebounded IUC 49-31 with Stewart and Morris grabbing the majority.
The Bearcats are set to host #23 Shawnee State this Saturday, Feb. 7, at 1pm in The Den.
