RIO GRANDE, Oh. – The Brescia University women’s track and field team placed 5th out of the 11 teams in the River States Conference Championship.
CHILLICOTHE, Oh. – The Brescia University baseball team opened up the first game of the tournament against the #2 seed, Oakland City. The Bearcats fell, 3-2, despite the close matchup. In the double elimination format, BU heads to the loser’s bracket where they faced IU Kokomo and defeated the Cougars, 12-9, in comeback fashion.
SOUTH CHARLESTON, Wv. – The Brescia University softball team reached the conference tournament for the first time in nine years. The #5 seeded Bearcats faced off against the #4 seed IU Southeast where they dropped the opening game, 13-7. The Bearcats were sent to the loser’s bracket in the double elimination format of the postseason and were to play #2 Shawnee State. BU fell to the Bears ending their tournament run, 9-4.

OAKLAND CITY, In. – Men’s Volleyball ended the regular season as the #6 seed in the River States Conference Tournament. The Bearcats drew #3 seed Oakland City as they traveled to the Mighty Oaks in the opening round.
HENDERSON, Ky. – The Brescia University softball team won the series at home against IU Columbus following the close matchup. The Bearcats improved their record to 17-23 overall and 12-16 in RSC play.
OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University baseball team defeated IU Southeast in a three-game series for the first time in 20 years. The Bearcats have split four-game series with the Grenadiers in past seasons but never surmounted a series win. The wins solidified back-to-back 20-win seasons for BU.
MIDWAY, Ky. / RICHMOND, In. – The Men’s Volleyball team secured their position in the postseason as the #6 seed following their last two regular season wins. The Bearcats ended the season with an overall record of 12-14 and 7-9 in RSC play.
TERRE HAUTE, In. – As the conference race heats up, the Bearcats are currently sitting in fifth place with an 8-10 RSC record. The split against Midway and sweep of St. Mary of the Woods, kept the Bearcats above Kentucky Christian who are at 8-12 in RSC play.
OXFORD, Oh. – The River States Conference has announced the Player of the Week honorees for contest played from March 23 through March 29.
OWENSBORO, Ky. - With four conference matches left and a postseason berth still faintly visible, the Bearcats found themselves chasing something bigger than a perfect scenario. They were chasing belief. Following a split weekend in conference play, the Bearcats remain in the playoff race.

Following the sweep, the Bearcats extended their record to 16-12 overall and 9-6 in RSC play.
TERRE HAUTE, In. – The Brescia University track and field teams traveled north to Terre Haute, IN to compete in the Rose Hulman Early Bird Invitational this past weekend. The Bearcats set multiple personal best and had a hand in topping the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference records.
